This time it will be an Image-A-Month Challenge as life is a little more hectic. Also, it will not be just John and I this time. To make it even more fun we have added some other friends to the mix, and we have also decided to run it from a Facebook Group (Journeys into the Incidental Photography Of Whimsical Mind), which gives us the chance to comment and discuss things all in one place. I will be sure to upload my images to here as well though, so stay tuned…

John1 and I headed out to the Pine Forest today and had a wander in the peace, tranquillity and fresh air. It was nice wandering around out there. Really quiet and calming. So this week I give you two shots. Not necessarily my best, but just trying to represent the beauty, calm and peace that we experienced while walking….

Anyway in an attempt to get myself motivated and moving again, and with the prodding of my friend John1. I have decided to give myself a bit of a challenge. I know there are many picture a day sites out there, where people attempt to take and publish a photo everyday. Well, while I like the idea, I just do not have that much time. So I have instead decided to attempt the not so demanding challenge of an image a week2. I figure that is something within my time restraints, and it will mean that I will update this site at least once a week if not more. Also, I am hoping that I can do this in conjunction with John. Meaning that there will be two of us on two site trying for a new image a week. We shall see if he accepts though.

So, without further rambling or fanfare, here is my first weeks image;
